The Prayer Cafe
All people pray.  Sometimes we need to enhance our inner life by rebooting the basics of prayer.  "The Prayer Cafe" is a three-week series featuring insights from different spiritual traditions, including Christianity, Judaism, Native American, and Zen Buddhism.  Please join us at church of the Nativity, 2175 Broadway, for three consecutive Sundays beginning February 26th at 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday Eucharist Service

As you prepare your heart for Easter, form the habit of spending time in a spirit of prayer with others who seek to grow their faith.  Our Wednesday Eucharist Service offers you an opportunity to step away from the weekday bustle and into a quiet time of communion, prayer, and spiritual renewal.  Join Nativity's clergy in the chapel at 11 a.m. every Wednesday except Ash Wednesday for a simple service and warm fellowship.  We practice open communion!

 

WEL (Wednesday Evenings in Lent)
Beginning on Wednesday, February 29th, and from 6-8  every Wednesday evening during Lent:
Prepare yourself for Easter - join us for "Healing Effects of Centering Prayer," an audio series by Rev. Cynthia Bourgeault.  We begin the evening with a simple soup supper, then wrap up with the study session.  Join us for a thought-provoking study as we explore the practice of centering prayer.
