Born in 1977, with our first worship service on Easter Sunday, Church of the Nativity began as a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado with small numbers, robust faith, and a go-to attitude. Our numbers have grown, our faith has deepened, and we became a parish in 1999.
Many of our early years were spent in unusual places, like a storefront, nursery school, and several local parks. Our present home across from Redlands Middle School is the first and only building we've owned, purchased in 1988.
Our mission statement reads: Go, spread the Good News, heal and serve others! We live into this philosophy through Christ-centered worship; Christian education for all ages; outreach and missions; ministry opportunities in our faith community and beyond; and care provided to those around us during life's tougher moments.
We offer one service of Holy Eucharist, Rite II, at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays. An adult education class meets at 8:30am.
We also offer a weekday Eucharist service on Wednesdays at 11 a.m.
There's always coffee hour downstairs in our fellowship hall after church, and Brunch Club meets every 2nd Sunday during the school year. Come join us!
