Church of the Nativity - FaithStreet
welcome home

Church of the Nativity is an Episcopal parish in the stunning purple mountains majesty of the American West.
Our historic building, once a grammar school, sits near the red rock canyons and monoliths of the Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction.
If you're in our parking lot at dusk, you'll likely see the deer family that lives in our woods and hear our nearest neighbor, a Great Horned Owl.
Everyone is welcome at Nativity. We love kids, grandparents, divorced people, LGBT, companion animals, and the biosphere.
If God loves you, so do we.
And there isn't anyone God doesn't love.

Our Sunday service of Holy Eucharist, Rite II, is at 9:30am.  The Adult Education class meets at 8:30am.

We have a special, animal-friendly service on the first Sunday evening of the month, from 5-5:30 p.m.  Well-behaved animals are welcome.

A non-denominational Centering Prayer group meets at Nativity every Tuesday evening at 5:15.  No experience is necessary; just bring your desire to grow in grace. (more here)
